Södra Änggården is taking shape; an emerging urban project with the countryside and the city just around the corner from each other.
Regenerating an industrial area into a mixed-use development with an emphasis on housing, Södra Änggården will be a new, dynamic, urban and lively neighbourhood in Gothenburg.
The area will have around 2,000 apartments with schools, parks, and access to the nature reserve Änggårdsbergen.
The location is attractive and within cycling distance of both the city center and the sea. The Botanic gardens, Slottsskogen and Linnéplatsen are only a few minutes away and Änggårdsbergen is the back garden.
Construction is expected to start in 2020, and the first 400 apartments will be available for occupation in 2022. Platzer has concluded agreements to sell a large proportion of the future building rights to Bonava, Peab Bostad, Magnus Månsson Fastigheter, Hökerum Bygg and Skanska Nya Hem.
In collaboration with other businesses, Platzer is involved in the urban development of entire neighbourhoods in several locations in Gothenburg and Södra Änggården is just one of them.
